Please make sure that you have the following software and resources available before you begin installation.
Obviously, all the WebMail/2 components require TCP/IP, and all of them must be able to communicate with each other. If they are running on the same machine and you can communicate on the Internet, you will be fine.
Please note that certain security devices such as firewalls may make it impossible for communications to or from the WebManager to reach their destination, especially in multi-server configurations. Such configurations are beyond the scope of this document. Please see your network administrator if you suspect that you may have such a problem.

WebMail/2 in general runs on OS/2 Warp 3 or better. It can will on either the web server machine or the e-mail server or independently, depending on your configuration.
In addition, WebManager, which is the daemon service of WebMail/2 requires VROBJ.DLL. This is available from: vrobj21d.zip.
Make sure you have this DLL file when you install WebMail/2. You may place it anywhere in your LIBPATH, or in the current directory of WebMail/2.
Depending on your version of OS/2 and the installed fixpacks, you may be required to install the latest MPTS/TCPIP fixpack. It includes a version of rxsock.dll that doesn't have a bug which prevents ObjectRexx from using some TCP/IP functions.
