I was born in Athens in 1978 and went to  Moraitis School of Athens. In 1996 I began my college life at the  University of Athens from which I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. In  addition, during the spring semester of the academic year 1999,I was a visiting student (with the Erasmus  programme) at the school of  mathematical sciences of the National  University of Ireland in Galway.
In my spare time I like to pursue many other different interests. As regards to sports I am a very keen athlete and I enjoy both taking part in and watching athletics. Formula 1 and soccer are other sports that I like very much  as they are both quite fast and very exciting.
Although, there is a particular team which I do find more thrilling than the  rest. Their soccer is like poetry in motion and their position in the premier  league table speaks for itself : Panathinaikos, a team first in Greece since  1908...
